Education Town Halls

The Mayor has held Education Town Halls in every ward to capture vital input and feedback from parents, teachers and students. The Mayor and the Chancellor will hold a special Youth Town Hall November 3, 11:30 am to 2 pm in Ward 8 at the THEARC, 1901 Mississippi Ave., SE.

Information gathered during these meetings will be incorporated in the District’s plan for DC Public Schools.

The Education Town Halls allow District residents to:
  • Learn more about the education reform process
  • Present ideas on how to improve public education
  • Participate in the single most important citywide initiative
Print out a Youth Town Hall meeting flyer in English*, Amharic*, Chinese*, French*,  Spanish*  and Vietnamese* .
